The Crèdit Andorrà Open, organised by Tennium, will bring the best international tennis to the Principality: the first women’s WTA 125 in the country’s history. The tournament will take place from 28 November to 4 December at the Polideportiu d’Andorra.

A great tennis day has completed the quarterfinals of the first edition of the Crèdit Andorrà Open. Just as Lisicki, Van Uytvanck, Singur and Parks booked their tickets for the next round yesterday, today it was the turn of Falkowska, Bucsa, Konjuh and top seed Shuai Zhang.

On the other hand, we have had the start of the doubles draw, where Georgina García and Vicky Jiménez have played a good match against Alexandra Panova and Alycia Parks. Despite not being able to overcome the number 2 seeds in the draw, the home players have shown a great level and have been able to enjoy themselves in front of their fans.

On the penultimate day of the tournament, we will be able to see four high-level clashes: Germany’s Sabine Lisicki will face the world’s 73rd seed, Alycia Parks. Spain’s Cristina Bucsa will face No. 2 seed Alison Van Uytvanck, while Ana Konjuh will play Poland’s Weronika Falkowska. One of the matches of the day will see top seed Shuai Zhang take on current world number 88, Sweden’s Rebecca Peterson.

This tournament has the support of Crèdit Andorrà, Govern d’Andorra, Comú d’Andorra la Vella, AnyósPark, Inmobiliaria Galí, Pyrénées Motor, Isdin, Wilson, Andbus, Quality Andorra, RTVA, Bondia and Joma.
