The Creand Andorra Open, organised by Tennium, will bring the best international tennis to the Principality: the second women’s WTA 125 in the country’s history and one of only 30 tournaments in this category worldwide. The competition will take place from 27 November to 3 December at the Poliesportiu d’Andorra.

Anastasija Sevastova has received an invitation to take part in the second edition of the Creand Andorra Open. The Latvian player, former world number 11, has played in Grand Slam tournaments such as the semi-finals of the US Open where she faced Serena Williams and the quarter-finals of the Australian Open. In her professional career she has won 4 singles titles and 2 doubles titles.

Sevastova will return to the courts for the first time after becoming a mother at the Creand Andorra Open. Her return highlights her ability to challenge stereotypes, to redefine what it means to be an elite sportswoman and to prove that motherhood does not limit sporting performance.

Enric Molina, tournament director and Tennium partner, said: “We are delighted that a top player like Anastasija has chosen the Creand Andorra Open to return to competition after her maternity leave from the circuit. We are sure that she will enjoy a great experience in the Principality and the Andorran public of her quality”.

This tournament has the collaboration and support of Creand (Crèdit Andorrà), the Government of Andorra, Común de Andorra la Vella, Tennium, AnyósPark, Residencial Altavista, Inmobiliaria Galí, Andbus, Quality Andorra, Eurosport, RTVA and Bondia.

Tickets are already on sale on the tournament’s official website: The tournament has opted for popular prices and tickets are free from Monday to Thursday. From Friday to Sunday they are available from €15.
