The Creand Andorra Open, organised by Tennium, will bring the best international tennis to the Principality: the second WTA 125 and one of only 30 tournaments in this category worldwide. The competition will take place from 27 November to 3 December at the Polideportiu d’Andorra.

In the first match of the day, Spain’s Marina Bassols beat Germany’s Noma Noha Akugue 6-3 7-5.

The surprise of the day was the victory of Swiss Celine Naef over top seed Cristina Bucsa 4-6 6-3 6-4. In the third match of the day, Spain’s Nuria Parrizas Diaz beat Romania’s Patricia Maria Tig 7-5 6-2.

Wild Card, Alina Charaeva beat third seed Oceane Dodin of France 3-6 6-2 6-2 6-2.

In the final match of the day, moved to Court 1, former world number 11 Alizé Cornet overcame Turkey’s Cagla Buyukakcay in a tight 3-hour match 1-6 7-6(4) 6-3.
