The third match of the day followed the same dynamic and ended with former world number 11 Anastasija Sevastova beating Dayana Yastremska 6-7 6-1 6-4.

In the most anticipated match of the day, the doubles of Vicky Jimenez and Alina Charaeva ended in defeat against Andreeva and Naef 6-3 6-3.

The day ended with the victory of the second seed, the Danish Clara Tauson against Katarzyna Kawa 6-1 6-2.

On Court 1, the Babos and Watson duo overcame Britain’s Barnett and Murray Sharan 6-2 6-2 and are now through to the semi-finals.
