The Crèdit Andorrà Open, organised by Tennium, will bring the best international tennis to the Principality: the first women’s WTA 125 in the country’s history. The tournament will take place from 28 November to 4 December at the Polideportiu d’Andorra.
Alycia Parks, was the first player of the day to qualify for the second round after beating the Czech, Alice Noskova. The other players already qualified for the sixteenth round are Yastremska , Charaeva, Singur, Van Uytvanck, Falkowska and Bucsa. The day ended with top seed Shuai Zhang beating Nina Stojanovic.
“I’m very excited to be a part of this inaugural edition of the first professional women’s tournament to be held at home”, said Vicky Jiménez the day before making her debut on the courts of the Crèdit Andorrà Open. The promising young Andorran tennis player will play her first match tomorrow at 19:30 against the number 3 seed, Tatjana Maria.
