19 players from the world’s top 120 come to the Principality on November 28th.
The Crèdit Andorrà Open, organized by Tennium, will bring the best international tennis to the Principality: the first women’s WTA 125 in the history of the country. The tournament will take place from November 28th to December 4th at the Polideportiu d’Andorra.
The final list of players was closed on October 31 and will bring together some of the best players in the world, including winners and finalists of prestigious tournaments such as Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
In fact, 19 players from the world’s top 120 will arrive in Andorra on November 28th. The top seed, Alison Van Uytvanck, current No. 56 with 12 singles titles to her name, heads a list with many notable names: Tatjana Maria, current Wimbledon semifinalist, Linda Noskova, winner of Roland Garros Junior 2021, Dayana Yastremska former world No. 21, Kristina Mladenovic, former world No. 1 in doubles and who has 28 titles to her name. Other names that we can not fail to mention are Sara Errani, former top 5 singles and finalist at Roland Garros in 2012 or Marketa Vondrousova, Olympic silver medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
Vicky Jimenez Kasintseva, has also qualified for the main draw and will play her first match in the tournament on Wednesday, November 30 at 19:30.
The tournament still has 6 invitations (Wild Cards) for the main draw, which will go to renowned players, top 50 players and young promises.
